Marzipan is a confection consisting primarily of sugar and crushed almond nuts. Often made into sweets, it is very popular in Europe usually rolled into thin sheets, shaped, and glazed for icing cakes. Marzipan has become more than just food. It is the 'part of tradition' for ages in many Europe countries, including Belgium.
Our Belgian Chocolatier tried to bring back the memory of his childhood in his hometown by pouring that 'part of tradition' inside a chocolate.
