1. GENERAL

The Terms of Service listed below detail your rights and obligations in association with the use of the Chocolate Monggo website, www.chocolatemonggo.com. Chocolate Monggo provides the content and services available on www.chocolatemonggo.com to you, subject to the following terms and conditions. By accessing or purchasing from www.chocolatemonggo.com you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree, to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which include our Privacy Policy. The Terms and Conditions are as follows

We take the protection of your personal information very seriously. This policy is intended to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide on our website. Please read this policy carefully before providing us with any personal data.

This privacy statement is provided to help you to understand what we may do with any personal information that we obtain from you. By providing your personal details to us, you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Statement. If you do not agree with this statement, please do not provide your personal details to us. This privacy statement is incorporated into, and part of, the Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the site in general. We will use your information for the purposes stated below. You will have an opportunity to unsubscribe every time we communicate with you.

Chocolate Monggo reserves the right to revise this policy at any time by updating this post. Your use of our website indicates your agreement with the currently posted privacy policy.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

You may choose to register at www.chocolatemonggo.com. If you do, you will be required to provide an email address and password that will be registered for your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide only accurate, truthful information. We reserve the right to refuse service and/or terminate accounts without prior notice if you violate these Terms and Conditions or if we decide, in our sole discretion, that it would be in our best interests to do so.

5. HOW TO ORDER

- Please go to www.chocolatemonggo.com
- Select the SHOP menu
- Select the desired product
- Fill in the number of products to be ordered
- Add other products to your basket
- When you have finished filling your basket, click “check out”
- Fill in the form with your personal data and the address of the recipient
- Choose a payment method
- Add a coupon code if possible
- Click “pay”
- When the payment is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation of your order via email
- Please wait for the products. We will pack and send them to the recipient's address.

6. PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION

Payments can be made via a virtual account in collaboration with a third party which you can directly select on our website when placing an order.

Payments can also be made via transfer to our bank account, the details are as follows:

Payment via bank transfer which is not a virtual account requires confirmation of transfer receipt which can be sent to the Whatsapp number found on the website.

Orders will be sent after we get proof of payment according to the order.

7. PACKING AND SHIPPING

We ensure that every product to be sent is in good condition regarding quality and packaging and that the expiration date of the product is still as far away as possible.

We pack the product using aluminum foil and/or styrofoam bags so that the temperature is more stable. On top of this, we put the products in a cardboard box or box lined with cardboard if the package size is larger than our regular cardboard box, then we glue the delivery receipt and a sticker stating that the product is “Fragile”.

We hand over the package to the shipping logistics company of your choice

The price and delivery time are in accordance with the third-party delivery service you have chosen, as well as the weight, dimensions of the package, and the distance from the location of the recipient of the package

We recommend you use insurance and 1 Day Delivery service to avoid exposure to heat or non-optimal storage conditions for too long during transit. We accept product returns if the product you have received does not match the order, such as if the product is missing or you have received the wrong product.

We process delivery on the same day if the order is before 16.00 WIB that day.

If the order is after 16.00 it will be packed and sent the next day.

We will send the product from one of our warehouses in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, or Bali depending on which is closest to the delivery address in order to reduce shipping time and to keep the product as safe as possible until it reaches your door.

After we hand over the product package to a 3rd party (logistics and delivery service), the product package is not our responsibility anymore and we disclaim any consequences due to mishandling or shipping delays.

Under normal circumstances, Chocolate Monggo will not be responsible for delayed delivery in case of the following: The inaccuracy of the written address, Incomplete address, A problem with the address you have provided, or if the recipient no longer lives at the delivery address, The recipient not being in at the time of delivery, and any major event impacting the delivery conditions.

It is important that you ensure that the recipient address you provide is accurate and that you give additional instructions to assist our distribution officer in locating “difficult-to-find” addresses, providing us with full contact details, including your contact telephone number, your email address, and your recipient’s contact telephone number.

If we are subsequently unable to deliver due to mentioned conditions, we will attempt to contact you via email or phone. If we are unable to contact you at the time of attempted delivery, we will return the order and await contact from you.

Chocolate Monggo is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer due to failed deliveries.

8. CHOOSE THE BEST SHIPPING OPTION!

Please choose the type of delivery courier service with the best storage conditions, because chocolate melts easily and the longer the journey, the more likely it is to melt. Therefore, we suggest instant couriers or couriers that offer cold storage services. Please make sure that after receiving your chocolate product, it is immediately stored in a refrigerator or cool room. We offer this advice because after the package has been purchased and delivered by the courier service, it is beyond our responsibility.

9. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

Orders cannot be canceled if there is confirmation of payment. Customers are advised to inspect the general condition of the product/s immediately upon receiving them. No claims shall be considered more than 24 hours after the order has been accepted by customers.

Once an order has been successfully delivered with payment duly authorized, Chocolate Monggo will not consider any request for cancellation of the order. As such, please ensure that you have checked all details prior to submitting your order for processing.

Order changes can still be made before the product is packed. Change requests can be made by contacting Customer Services at 085232300200.

You might be asked to send back the product that has been received if the product variant does not match your original order. As a result, we will send a replacement product that matches your original order. There will be no additional costs for the customer.

If a product is missing or broken, please immediately contact us by sending photo evidence of the receipt and the contents of the package a maximum of 24 hours after the package is received. We will immediately send the missing product or replace the product. After the designated 24-hour window, we will not process your request.

10. THE BEST STORAGE CONDITIONS FOR THE BEST CHOCOLATE

We suggest that after receiving the product, you put the chocolate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before consuming it.

If you receive chocolate that is mushy, melted, or has white spots on the surface, then you can follow these suggestions: place the chocolate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it hard again. After cooling down, there is a possibility that white spots will appear on the surface of the chocolate - these white patches are the cocoa butter blooming on the surface of the chocolate. Although your chocolate may not look as nice and shiny as it should be, it is still good and safe for consumption.

Store your chocolate in the Fridge, not in the freezer because freezer temperatures are too cold and are not suitable for chocolate. The best temperatures for storing chocolate are 18°C - 20°C for chocolate bars and 6°C - 9°C for Chocolate Pralines and Truffles. Although your fridge’s standard temperature may range from 3-4°C, these might still be the best storage conditions considering the heat and humidity in tropical countries. Just be sure to leave the chocolate out of the fridge for 10 min before consumption. Avoid direct sunlight. Exposure to higher temperatures than the ones mentioned above might damage your chocolate bars and pralines

Chocolate easily absorbs odors. Avoid placing chocolate near strong-smelling foods or products like salted fish, durian, soap, etc., Chocolate tends to absorb the smells around it and this might modify the original taste of the chocolate.

Chocolate doesn't like water. Avoid dripping water or condensation from the refrigerator by re-sealing/re-closing the packaging tightly. Water may make the sugar in the chocolate rise to the surface and create sandy white spots. This phenomenon is called “sugar bloom” as is absolutely nothing to worry about. Your chocolate may not be shiny anymore but is still very edible.

All contents available on www.chocolatemonggo.com, including but not limited to texts, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations and software, thereof are the property of Chocolate Monggo and are protected by Indonesian copyright laws. The trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on www.chocolatemonggo.com are the registered and unregistered marks of Chocolate Monggo and are protected by Indonesian trademark laws. Neither the Contents nor Trademarks nor any portion of www.chocolatemonggo.com may be used, reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, accessed, modified, or otherwise exploited, in whole or in part, for any purpose without our prior written consent.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our services (or any part or our content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of our services.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
